Research Interests

My major research interests concern the development of materials and methods for radiation dosimetry using luminescence techniques - particularly Thermoluminescence (TL) and optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL). Applications and areas of interest include space radiation dosimetry (for astronauts), medical dosimetry (for radiotherapy and diagnosis), environmental dosimetry, geological dating (with special interests in developing potential methods for dating sediments on the surface of Mars).
